About Us
Biography
-The 12 women who form the singing group "Jubilation" are celebrating 11 years together.
-Barbara Scott who directed the "Jubilaires Womens Chorus" at the time, decided to form a smaller group of Jubilaire members and thus "Jubilation" was begun. Arlene Gray has agreed to be our new director and accompanist.
-Our repetoire embraces a variety of musical styles including Jazz, Big Band, Gospel and Pop.
-We have performed at a variety of venues such as senior residences, concerts, and special events. For the past 6 years we have performed at Roy Thompson Hall as past of the RBC Jubilee. We have enjoyed being a part of the International Plowing Match and Showplace celebrations such as "Spring Tonic" and their 10th anniversary show.
